# Install SOLONCODE on Apple silicon macOS

Release **0.5.56-trust1** is the signed and Apple-notarized installer for the existing pure modular 0.5.56 native profile. It targets Apple silicon with a minimum build target of macOS 14; this release was verified on the development Mac, not across every macOS version. This is a command-line runtime: it does not add a Dock application.

Publisher: **Aleksei Solonskii**, Apple Developer Team **Y87TBHFK44**. The executable uses Developer ID Application, hardened runtime and a secure timestamp; the package uses Developer ID Installer and a secure timestamp. Apple accepted submission **38445a98-67f1-4b0a-9dea-8cc9ba49e559** and its ticket is attached to this package. The package passed the macOS Gatekeeper installer assessment as **Notarized Developer ID**.

## Verify your download

Download only through this official HTTPS site. File: `soloncode-project-native-0.5.56-trust1-macos-arm64.pkg`

Size: **575492 bytes**. SHA-256:

```text
79eac711a695385ecb60c504742a6f46d39b173d438d3d1f2d6eaa3f138c92d5
```

In Terminal, from the directory containing the download:

```sh
shasum -a 256 soloncode-project-native-0.5.56-trust1-macos-arm64.pkg
pkgutil --check-signature soloncode-project-native-0.5.56-trust1-macos-arm64.pkg
spctl --assess --type install --verbose=4 soloncode-project-native-0.5.56-trust1-macos-arm64.pkg
xcrun stapler validate soloncode-project-native-0.5.56-trust1-macos-arm64.pkg
```

The hash must match exactly; the signature must identify Developer ID Installer: Aleksei Solonskii (Y87TBHFK44). Gatekeeper must accept the installer with `source=Notarized Developer ID`. The optional `stapler` check requires Apple's developer tools. A checksum checks bytes; it does not by itself establish publisher identity or safety.

## Install and run

Open the `.pkg` in the standard macOS Installer. Review its signing certificate and allow the normal administrator/Touch ID confirmation if you choose to install. It installs 11 files into `/Library/Soloncode/0.5.56-trust1`. It adds no daemon, privileged script, login item, PATH change or global npm package. Existing ZIP releases and installations remain separate.

The standard installer completed successfully on the development Mac; all 11 installed files matched the signed payload and one fresh bundled-example run matched its 389-byte expected output. After successful installation, run the bundled synthetic example:

```sh
cd /Library/Soloncode/0.5.56-trust1
./bin/solon-project < examples/project.request.json
```

Compare the complete output with `examples/project.expected.json`. Node.js and Python are not needed. This runtime accepts canonical JSON on stdin; double-clicking the binary is not the normal interface.

The profile supports bounded pure virtual modular projects. Native effects, host permissions, Wasm, universal binaries and whole-platform qualification remain outside this release. See the [profile guide](/docs/native-project-macos.md).

## Download warnings

Google Safe Browsing's uncommon-download warning is separate from macOS Gatekeeper and Apple notarization. A new signed file can still have limited download reputation. No warning-removal guarantee or review deadline is offered. Keep Safe Browsing, Gatekeeper and quarantine enabled; do not bypass a warning. If a warning appears, stop and report the exact release name and warning text.

The official Google Search Console domain report showed no security issues during the 19 October 2026 audit. That observation does not establish this file's Chrome reputation.
